Windy Sydney Property Roundup

The wind, rain and more wind really slowed down progress across all sites this week. Our opening of the display apartment at Wigmund Merrylands will go ahead despite the landscapers being unable to finish the garden for fear of blowing plants and topsoil all around the street. And the cleaners at Vision Hornsby will be working double time to keep that massive entry foyer clear of leaves and other flying debris and provide clear access for people inspecting the apartments. I just hope this time they don't use their extraordinarily loud vacuum cleaner while I am trying to talk to people!!

Speaking of Vision, we took a number of reservations this week, so you will need to be quick if you want one of the last 5 apartments (1x1, 3x2, 2x3). And these are not the ugly stepchildren, these are properties were sold early but failed to settle. The developer is prepared to do terrific deals on them between now and Christmas.

In other news, one of my buddies Peter Salisbury opened Stone Real Estate Camden this week - full story here. Greater Western Sydney is such an exciting place at the moment with the new airport, and the enormous amount of new development happening over the next 10 years. Not to mention the 1.5m more people who will move there over the next 20 years. I wish him and his team all the best, and I know they will be a huge success.

Did I mention that we have some awesome properties in the West (Sky Garden, Kingswood, Centrum) that would make a terrific investment and capitalise on all that activity!
